September 2016

As September is coming to a close, the count down to Fall Expo is ready to begin!

This past Monday we had a great turn out at our table sign up meeting. Many tables have been claimed, but we still have some openings left before we open the floor for the interested to purchase a second table.

As in previous fashion, we allow up to three representatives from a company, whether sharing or requesting separate tables. Unless it goes against the company policy, in which case we have no authority to override their policy and procedures.

Once again, we will have light morning refreshments for the vendors during setup, followed by 30 minutes shopping time before the doors open to the public for the Event.

October 17 will be the next and final mandatory meeting for all participating vendors. On that night we will review the Event's procedure list and all vendors are to bring a donation for the Raffle baskets. Carla Bates has been kind enough to volunteer to organize the baskets once again and we all appreciate her effort. Don't forget to have a business card along with your item so whomever the winner may be, they know from where these sweet prizes came.

I will be available to claim your table form/fee before the October meeting or you may hand in your form/fee that night. Please contact me through FB page or message me directly to schedule a meet up.

If however, you miss this final mandatory meeting, any available tables will then have a $40 fee and must arrange to meet to personally deliver form, fee and view your SJA approval letter.

My goal is to fill the room. The more of us there, the more that will come in to see us. Let's pack it out! This event has all the makings to be great, so let's all come together and make it happen! There is room for all of us to thrive!

P.S. It is to the benefit of us all that everyone knows in order to run a business while stationed aboard MCAS Iwakuni they need to gain SJA approval. There has been a lot of turnover from PSC season and I feel the need to restate this. Being able to operate our businesses here is considered a privilege and can be revoked by anyone's wrong doing. Help keep other's informed and keep it legal, otherwise we may all suffer the consequences.
