Coming up this month is the IHBO's Spring Iwakuni Home Business Expo, which will be 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 23rd in the Club Iwakuni Ballroom. For more information about the expo or upcoming meetings, visit the IHBO Events page. Also, keep an eye out for the Sneak Peeks, which start tomorrow.

The Iwakuni Business Directory can now be found at www.IwakuniBusinessDirectory.com. Before, it was a BlogSpot website address. We hope this will streamline the URL and make it easier for the community to remember.

News:

Coming up this month is the IHBO meeting at 6 p.m. March 21 in building 1209's community room. This is a mandatory meeting for vendors for the Fall Home Business Expo. The next Iwakuni Home Business Expo will be 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 23rd in the Club Iwakuni Ballroom. There are still tables available for the Expo, at $30 each. Jessica Guthrie and Shannon Reuter are leaving Iwakuni this summer and new leadership was announced at the February IHBO meeting. Jannell Atkins and Stef Miller will be the new leadership team for the group.

Spring 2016 Home Business Expo Meeting Feb. 22


The Iwakuni Home-based Business organization will have its first meeting for 2016 this coming Monday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. in Building 1209's community room. On the agenda is the announcement of the new leadership team, table fee collection for the Spring Home Business Expo and an opportunity to network with other business owners.

The next Home Business Expo is scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 2016 in the MCAS Iwakuni Club Iwakuni ballroom. Further details about the event will be announced to the public soon. Potential vendors should attend the meeting on Monday for more information. If you are a home business or crafter who is interested in being a vendor at the Expo, and you have a questions, send an email to ihbomembership@gmail.com.

New Year, New Business?


Maybe you're launching a new business endeavor, or you've just arrived in Iwakuni and are planning to restart your business here. Whatever your business plans and goals are for 2016, the Iwakuni Home-based Business Organization is here to help. With dozens of fellow business owners to bounce ideas off of, ask questions of and network with, the IHBO offers Iwakuni-specific information and resources not found anywhere else.

If you haven't already done so, join our Iwakuni Business Owners Facebook Group. A lot of information is shared there. Also, be sure to browse this site... especially the About and Events sections. There is a lot of good information there, too. If you want to see what other businesses are available, check out the directory as well, clicking on the tabs found at the top of this site's home page.
