Spring 2016 Home Business Expo Meeting Feb. 22

The Iwakuni Home-based Business organization will have its first meeting for 2016 this coming Monday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. in Building 1209's community room. On the agenda is the announcement of the new leadership team, table fee collection for the Spring Home Business Expo and an opportunity to network with other business owners.

The next Home Business Expo is scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 2016 in the MCAS Iwakuni Club Iwakuni ballroom. Further details about the event will be announced to the public soon. Potential vendors should attend the meeting on Monday for more information. If you are a home business or crafter who is interested in being a vendor at the Expo, and you have a questions, send an email to ihbomembership@gmail.com.

Business owners should also join the Iwakuni Business Owners Facebook page. This is where news and information is shared between local business owners. You can learn more about the IHBO and its events by clicking on the tabs above.

New Year, New Business?

Maybe you're launching a new business endeavor, or you've just arrived in Iwakuni and are planning to restart your business here. Whatever your business plans and goals are for 2016, the Iwakuni Home-based Business Organization is here to help. With dozens of fellow business owners to bounce ideas off of, ask questions of and network with, the IHBO offers Iwakuni-specific information and resources not found anywhere else.

If you haven't already done so, join our Iwakuni Business Owners Facebook Group. A lot of information is shared there. Also, be sure to browse this site... especially the About and Events sections. There is a lot of good information there, too. If you want to see what other businesses are available, check out the directory as well, clicking on the tabs found at the top of this site's home page.

Our next meeting is a Marketing seminar and roundtable at 6 p.m. Jan. 25th. You can find out more about that by visiting the Events page or our Facebook page. Hope to see you there!

The Iwakuni Home-based Business Organization (IHBO) will present the Home Business Expo this Saturday! Plan to stop by the Club Iwakuni ballroom between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and visit 36 different home-based businesses. Ready to see what you can expect to see at the expo? This year She's Sew Shy will feature a selection of custom Christmas ornaments, bibs, blankets, bubblegum necklaces, no more tears hair ties, key fobs, handmade dresses and color me tote bags. We will be hosting a giveaway as well. Everyone who stops by will enter to win my Marine Sweetheart dress. 1 additional raffle ticket will be earned for every $5 spent.
