News:
Currently we are not meeting during the summer break, but we are on the look out for more members as it is PSC season and many of our seasoned businesses are on their way out. Make sure to pass the word along to new comers in your communities. We had mentioned setting up a table at Welcome Aboard at our last meeting, otherwise it is all word of mouth and link sharing.

Leadership will also be doing another do-si-do. Due to unforeseen events, Jannell Atkins will be stepping down from leadership before the Fall Expo as their family moves on to their next adventure. However, Amanda Shreve has stepped forward into the leadership role to make sure we move forward seamlessly into the next event. Thank you ladies for all your help.

My mission is unchanged. As we move forward, I would like to see this organization grow and build into its full potential. Businesses that have left Iwakuni have been cleared from the directory. If you have yet to add your listing, please send in your application to get it added to the directory. This is free and makes your services searchable. You can find the application in the files section on the Facebook page and remember a photo for your listing. The more we have to offer, the greater the resource we will become.

June 2016 News

Maybe you're launching a new business endeavor, or you've just arrived in Iwakuni and are planning to restart your business here. Whatever your business plans and goals are, the Iwakuni Home-based Business Organization is here to help. With dozens of fellow business owners to bounce ideas off of, ask questions of and network with, the IHBO offers Iwakuni-specific information and resources not found anywhere else.

If you haven't already done so, join our Iwakuni Business Owners Facebook Group. A lot of information is shared there. Also, be sure to browse this site... especially the About and Events sections. There is a lot of good information there, too. If you want to see what other businesses are available, check out the directory as well, clicking on the tabs found at the top of this site's home page.

We are currently on Summer break. Our next meeting is tentative date September 19 @ 6 p.m. You can find out more about that by visiting the Events page or our Facebook page. Hope to see you there!
